Day Trip to Chartres

On Sunday, March 16th, I headed out to Chartres for a day trip with my friend, Rachel.  We lucked out with some gorgeous weather.  Chartres is known for it's cathedral which is truly very impressive.

I had such a great time exploring a new place that is not far from Paris at all.  It really is quite easy to get there from Paris.  Neither of us had been there before and both of us are wanting to see more of France beyond Paris so this was a great way to start.
